Wicked Tea Thyme began in the quiet, everyday moments of home life along the Carolina coast — open windows, warm air drifting through the house, the sound of summer evenings settling in, and the constant battle of wanting fresh air without inviting every mosquito inside.
What started as a simple idea quickly became something much bigger.
When my husband insisted on leaving the door open during the spring and summer months, we compromised and set out to create a candle that smelled beautiful while naturally helping keep bugs away — something that felt comforting rather than chemical-filled. That first blend, Lemon Verbena + Thyme, became the spark behind Wicked Tea Thyme.
From One Candle to a Full Collection
Soon, candle-making turned into soap-making. Soap-making turned into body butters, oils, room sprays, teas, and seasonal collections inspired by slow mornings, coastal gardens, old homesteads, and the feeling of creating a softer life at home.
